…Christmas!
So I was wondering what does Christmas look like for you?
Do you have a particular theme or colour?
Certain favourite decorations or baubles?
Maybe you don’t do Christmas decorations… maybe it’s something else…
Distinctive aromas from flowers, diffusers or candles?
Is there some music you always like to play…
Or other sounds in your home that say Christmas to you.
Maybe it’s something outside…
The flowering Poinciana trees…
Outdoor lighting…
Maybe you’ve never really thought about it before!
In our home this year the theme is blue and silver…
But there are always a few funny (or as we call them bonkers) baubles that make it on to the tree to make us smile…
And there are always hearts…
Lots of fairy lights… I just love them!
Reindeers, lots of reindeers…
My moose, a gift from friends in the USA…
Happy, who guards the Advent Calendar…
Some Lego of course! This year’s table centrepiece…
Christmas crackers (bon bons) and napkins…
Father Christmas…
Lots and lots of Christmas music, because let’s face it you can’t get enough of it in all the shops can you? 😉
And the sound of cicadas…
When it comes to smells… for me it’s mozzie coils and repellent (maybe that’s just the smell of summer)!
But also mince pies and Christmas pudding…
Ahhhh the smell of the spices… and the taste….
Along with mangoes and cherries….
Yum!
And of course cups of tea in our Christmas mugs…
So that’s what Christmas looks like in our home this year.
